I want to begin with a huge shout out of admiration to all you work from home Mommas out there. How on earth do you do it?! We’ve been on summer break for almost two weeks and I am drowning. I love my kids, I promise I do, but I am really struggling to get things done!
Between the brother-sister squabbles, the constant meal prep, and the questions every 2.5 seconds, I’m lucky if two things get crossed off my list every day. We are in survival mode, people. Pray for us.
I know all of this is “normal” but I’m working really hard for something I will be announcing in a couple months. Every day I want to tell you all about it, because it’s for YOU! It’s for me, and it’s for GOD. But I can’t tell you just yet. It’s killing me. I’m a really bad secret keeper. When I have a gift for someone, I want to give it to them right now! Waiting, being patient…it’s not my specialty.
I hope it’s worth the wait though. I pray it’s exactly what you need, and exactly what I need. I pray it glorifies God and helps people love one another! So, although that’s the only hint I can give you right now, I AM accepting investors. Prayer investors. You don’t have to know exactly what I’m up to in order to pray all over this. Would you like to be a prayer investor?
I’m so excited about this!! I’m also a bit nervous and scared. This is a brand-new thing for me. Walking into something with faith & prayer but no experience is a wee bit terrifying. But I can’t explain how strongly I feel I am supposed to do this. So, I’m doing my best to follow this call with all the trust I can drum up. A mustard seed. The faith the size of teeny tiny mustard seed is all it takes, although I pray for more than that!
Matthew 17:20 (NIV)
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
So let’s pray for that kind of faith! If we don’t even have a mustard seed amount today, let’s pray for that! If we have a little, let’s pray for more than that!
Move! That! Mountain! Whatever your mountain is today, throw a little faith at it. God is NOT going to let us down. A nearly miniscule amount of faith, like a mustard seed, and “BOOM!” the mountain is moved.
God has this. He is not going to let us drown. Whatever He’s put on your heart…He will help you see it through. He’s going to help me see it through. Have faith! Work hard! Trust in the ONE who loves you more than anything or anyone. “Fear Not!”

I have to go now, it’s 8:50 a.m. and Gman is asking for popsicles. Really?! You guys…summer is EXTRA GRACE REQUIRED!
