Things are CRAZY busy!

December 13, 2017

Life is CRAZY right now!!! December with kids is not for the weak! You’ve all been on my mind all week so I wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that. I’m hoping to get on Facebook LIVE this week or next to just TALK to you instead of writing. Christmas is coming and I know it’s hard. It’s joyful, yet it’s hard. I just want you to know you aren’t alone. I want you to know I’m thinking about you. If you don’t have anyone to go to church with, or just aren’t feeling up to attending church but want to celebrate/worship at Christmas, please send me a message and I’ll send you a link to worship online with me at my church. Worship is worship and I think God understands when it’s just too hard to be with all the people. If that’s you, let me know and I’ll send you the link to attend online.

Extra grace, strength and love to each and every one of you!

What a nice invite Jodi! Thanks for thinking of others that may need your special help! Yes, life is crazy busy, I have a dozen things on my immediate to do list just for today, and then there are many other lists with pending items on them. My tree isn’t up, I only baked for cantata, no cookies on hand, only wrapped gifts that I got in the mail last week, no others, need to get my letters copied, finally got paper yesterday. We are hosting Christmas so I can’t slack on these things. My foot slows me down, I can walk, but it isn;t the same, still gets tight and stiff. I decided to just send Christmas letters this year, as this is the most special to me, hearing from others rather than just a signed card. I always include a letter, too much postage for just our signatures, right? We sold calves this week, much prep work, yesterday Lynn saw the chiropracter, we hauled four large culverts, went to Glen Ullin to haul Lynn’s repaired tractor etc. and so we are not home very much. I was summoned for jury, so thankful they settled out of court. Next week dr. appointmtent and last with my physician of 35 years, he’s retiring, so I need to find another dr. So I can totally relate! Wishing you the very best, take time to enjoy Christ’s birth and remember all the great Christmas’s with Mark and the kids! Love you! Karen and Lynn

    Dear Extra Grace Required,

Thank you for your encouraging words. This is the second Christmas that our youngest daughter Marie will not be with us. She is in heaven and was taken by God on October 30, 2016.
I really appreciate your prayers. As a mother of one other daughter and two granddaughters. One granddaughter is Marie’s daughter Ella who is 5 years old. So sad to realize she is only with her Dad and we try to help and be there for Ella. My other daughter Melanie and me.
