It’s here! Christmas Eve is here and we made it! We made it through Thanksgiving and we are going to make it through Christmas. No matter where you are in your grief, no matter how bad your heart is breaking, it is my sincerest prayer that you find JOY this Christmas. I pray you’re surrounded by people who love you. I pray old memories bring comfort and new experiences bring happiness. I’m rooting for you – for us. I hope you’ll give yourself permission to feel whatever it is you feel tomorrow. Christmas is especially a day for Extra Grace. Give it to yourself. Give it to those around you. When it feels like too much, remember the baby in the manger – that’s where our hope lies. God in the flesh for us.
Thanks for being with me the last part of 2016. I hope you’ll stay with me for 2017. We are going to make it. One day at a time.

Hey …..I can’t always comment because my heart hurts sometimes when I read your posts. I know you’ll come out the other side, but I so remember the intensity of pain. Thank you for your words today. Thinking of you again this special time of year! It is hard moving on with those loved ones that are no longer with us, there is definitely a void!
